Founder and lead designer of Jules Smith accessories, Gina Nigrelli-Smith is a lover of all things vintage. Her design aesthetic swaggers back and forth from 60s post-modern to 70s boho and 80s glam. Her collections are chic and flaunted by top celebrities, but easily obtainable for any fashionista. Sold in the hottest boutiques, Nigrelli-Smith’s fashion-forward Jules Smith brand is up-and-coming and drives a media storm of press with features on celebrity tv shows, magazines and top fashion and style blogs. A former ballet dancer and fashion editor, Nigrelli-Smith studied at NYU in the heart of Greenwich Village. With the images of fashion icons Kate Moss and Twiggy as her inspiration, Nigrelli-Smith forged a style of her own that is modern, indie and attention grabbing. With a career path that landed her at Diesel, Nigrelli-Smith chose a different route that pointed to the Caribbean. There with husband Brian Smith, Nigrelli-Smith started Jules Smith next to the sway of palms and crystal turquoise waters.
