Rachel Reinhardt's passion for jewelry began as a young child. A second generation jewelry designer, Rachel's passion was evident at the age of ten when she got her hands on her grandmother's box of antique buttons and began making necklaces with them. Enamored with colors, textures and anything that sparkled, she promised her family that one day she would turn her hobby into a business. After graduating from Boston University, Rachel held several jobs in the fashion jewelry business learning the trade. In September of 1996, she decided she was ready to branch out on her own and start a business. She learned the skill of design from her late mother who taught her to look at the world not from the surface but in colors and shapes. Her mother taught her how to design and to approach the world of fashion with a fresh eye. Many times when Rachel designs a necklace she hears her mother's voice telling her to add a drop here or a cluster there.
